RC Expo 2007 was a hit! From the RCP Crawlers exhibit to The Dirt track to the Team VTX poker challenge, there was a little bit of everything! This year was RC Expo's first time at the Fairplex showgrounds but you'd think it was meant to be there all along. With The Dirt track right in the middle of the action and thousands of spectators, it was hard not to get excited and make some noise.
Companies such as Team Associated and Pro-Line threw t-shirts and other goodies to the crowd at The Dirt track while the boats were tearin' it up outside. The planes were flying high and moving fast and there was even a blimp flying around the show from West Coast Blimps. There were demo's and hands-on challenges all day long to keep you busy such as the Pro-Line refuel challenge and tables where you could build your own free rubberband airplanes and model rockets which you got to take home. And to top if off was the RCX Supercross Challenge where some of the industry's best compete for $500 cash and a big trophy. Hundreds gathered around The Dirt track while the racers did what they do best with Ryan Cavalieri and Mike Truhe coming out on top.
With all this excitement came the official debut of the TRCZ Live! webcast. A $3000 production where I personally interviewed several companies and recorded hours of dirt track coverage. With over 1600 unique visitors from 59 different countries tuning in for the live webcast TRCZ Live! was a huge success and I'm already planning ways to make next years webcast even better!
