how does the stock ESC like 8.4 volts?
does the motor get too hot?

i love that pack! but i think i'd rather get a 6 cell gp 1100 pack

auto2, the stock ESC can handle up to 8.5V. See here:

What would this battery do for a stock RC18T ?

Would it be faster, run longer ?

more volts = more top speed. motor turns faster.
run time will be the same.

I'd say so, I do believe they're the exact same battery configuration.

you gotta take off the heatshrink and the top black cap but besides that yes they fit

hey Kaymin have you ran your rc18t with stock motor + esc with them 8.4v batt pack? its just that im getting some 8.4v packs but ive heard theres rumers of when using a 8.4v pack you risk melting the endbell on the stock motor? has this happened to you? has your motor been ok? :) :) :)

ok cool i will try em on mine when i get em, but if you do run it for longer next time could you let us know how the motor is after you ran it? cheers :)
