Just got my Team Helotes GP1100mah 7.2V NiMH pack and Team Helotes 8.4V 1200mah pack. They look awesome. I still have to charge them, and wait for my Mamba 6800Kv to get here since I blew my stock esc/motor. Been 16 days for my Mamba...
I am planning on doing a review on both the URC X71 packs and the Team Helotes 7.2 and 8.4 packs. :)
All I have for my RC18T is battery packs right now: http://www.the-rc-zone.com/vehicles/rc18t.php

Hey why don't you get drop a line to the guys at maxamps and get one of there packs to use in your review also. They have great prices and I just wonder how they stack up. When I get packs this is where I will get them, but I am Cheap and don't like spending money LOL.
WE NEED A BATTERY SHOOT OUT!!!!!
3 or 4 companies looking at discharge rate and run time and quality of the build.

I just ordered 2 of Maxamps 8.4v GP 1100 packs. Also ordered a mamba 6800 last night. I don't even get my 18t till christmas.
May give it a quick boot with the stock motor, but can't wait to try the mamba.

I don't have any fancy charger to be able to tell you guys any numbers, but I can tell you the basic. If its fast or slow, and if it lasts long or not. Durability is another thing.
I'll see if MaxAmps would like to donate a pack for my testing.

Anyone ordering a custom 7cell gp1100 shotgun (stick) pack from maxamps, be sure to ask for the pack to be built without an end cap. The end cap they put on my batteries made it too big to fit.

Hmmm, that is no good. Is there anyway to remove the endcap? What did you do about it?
