NiMH

Abbreviation for "Nickel Metal Hydride". NiMH is a type of rechargeable battery that is similar to NiCad (Nickel Cadmium) batteries, but does not contain cadmium or mercury, which is expensive and dangerous to the environment. NiMH batteries do not experience the "memory affect" or "voltage depression" caused by incorrect charging and have a higher capacity than NiCad's.
